Care

Dishwasher safe. Skip the microwave for metallic glazes. Stoneware likes steady temperatures: don't pour boiling water into a cold piece straight from the cupboard.

Shipping and returns

We pack in paper and cardboard only and ship within a week of your order, tracked. Free on orders over $150. If a piece doesn't suit your table, send it back within 30 days; if it arrives broken, we replace it.

How this piece is made

Visit the studio

Thrown on Monday
One lump of clay, one wheel, about four minutes. Then a day to firm up before trimming.
Fired on Friday
Glazed by hand and fired to 1260° overnight. The kiln cools for a day before we open it.
Wrapped by hand
Paper, cardboard and a tag with the firing date. Nothing plastic. Out the door within a week.
